Tour of the home page
The home page is the first thing you see after signing in. It tells you what is happening today, what is waiting for you, and gets you anywhere in the suite in one or two clicks.
Open it any time with Home, or by selecting Dashboard at the top of the menu on the left.
- The menu. Every part of the suite you can use, grouped into Workspace (mail, documents, memos, events), Work (requests, approvals) and, if your job needs them, Finance, People and Administration. A number beside an item is how many things there need you.
- Search or jump to. Type the name of a page, a person or a request reference to go straight to it. The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + K.
- Assistant. Opens the AI assistant in a side panel, without leaving the page you are on. See Ask the AI assistant.
- Notifications. The bell shows how many alerts you have not read. Select it to see the latest; select one to open the request, memo or event it is about. See Notifications.
- Your account. Your profile, light or dark theme, Lock screen, Help & user manual and Sign out.
- Ask box. Ask the assistant a question about your work in plain words, or pick one of the suggestions under the box.
- At a glance. Counts that matter to you: what is waiting for your approval, unread mail and notifications, your open requests. Select a card to open the full list.
- Needs your attention. The items that need you to act, most urgent first: memos to read, requests to decide. The coloured bar shows urgency (red is urgent).
- You. Your name and role. Select it for the same account menu as 5.
What “needs your attention” means
The suite puts something in this list when it cannot move forward without you. For example:
- A memo marked urgent or high priority that you have not opened yet.
- A request that has reached your step in its approval chain. See Approve, return or reject.
- A request of yours that was returned for correction. See If your request is returned.
Once you have dealt with an item, it leaves the list on its own. You do not need to tick anything off.
Coming up
On the right, under Coming up, you see events and meetings in the next seven days that you are invited to. Select Open calendar for the full calendar.
Moving around quickly
- Use the menu for places. Everything you are allowed to use is in the menu on the left. If something you expect is missing, see I can’t see a menu item.
- Use search for things. Press Ctrl + K and type a request reference, a memo title or a colleague’s name.
- Use “New …” buttons to start work. Each list page has a button at the top right, such as New request or New memo.
On a phone or small screen the menu is hidden to save space. Tap the panel icon at the top left to open it.
