Signing in

You can sign in with your staff number, your IPPIS number or your work email, plus your password. Once you have set one up, a passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead.

The sign-in page.
  1. Staff number or email. Any one of: your staff number (for example UATH/1234), your IPPIS number, or your work email address. Capital letters and extra spaces in a staff number don’t matter.
  2. Password. Your own password. The very first time, the temporary password you were issued.
  3. Continue with password. Signs you in.
  4. Sign in with passkey. Signs you in without a password, if you have added a passkey on this device.
  5. First time here? Find your account. For staff who were never given a temporary password, or have lost it. See Find your account.
  6. Forgot password? Sends a reset link to your email. See Forgot password.

Sign in with your password

  1. Open the suite in your browser. You land on Sign in.
  2. Type your staff number, IPPIS number or email in Staff number or email.
  3. Type your password in Password.
  4. Select Continue with password.

Where you go next depends on your account:

Sign in with a passkey

A passkey is a secure sign-in stored on your phone or computer. You unlock it the same way you unlock the device: fingerprint, face, or device PIN. There is no password to type or forget.

  1. Add a passkey first. Sign in with your password once, then open Profile › Security › Passkey security, give it a name (for example “My phone”) and select Add passkey. See Your profile & settings.
  2. Next time, select Sign in with passkey on the sign-in page.
  3. Confirm on your device when it asks for your fingerprint, face or PIN.

A passkey only works on the device (or the phone/computer account) where you added it. On a shared or new computer, use your password.

What the messages mean

The message shown when the details don’t match.
  1. The error message appears at the top of the form. Your typing is kept, so you can correct it.
What you seeWhat it means and what to do
“That staff number or email and password don't match. Check them and try again.”Either the staff number / email or the password is wrong, or the account is not active. For your safety the suite does not say which. Check for typing mistakes and Caps Lock. If you are sure they are right, use Forgot password? or Find your account. If that doesn’t match either, your account may be switched off: contact your ICT unit.
“Too many sign-in attempts. Please try again in about N minutes.”Several wrong attempts were made for this staff number or from this computer. Wait the number of minutes shown, then try again carefully. You are not locked out for good.
“No passkey was used. Either none is registered on this device, or the prompt was dismissed.”You cancelled the fingerprint/face prompt, or this device has no passkey for the suite. Sign in with your password, then add a passkey from Profile › Security if you want one on this device.
“Passkey sign-in could not be completed. Use your password instead.”Something went wrong with the passkey on the device. Use your password this time.
Signing in with a staff number fails, but with your email it worksYour staff number may be recorded differently, or shared by two records. Use your email for now and ask HR or your ICT unit to correct your record.

On a shared computer, always choose Sign out from your account menu when you finish. Locking the screen is not the same as signing out.

Signing out

Select your name or initials at the top right (or at the bottom of the menu), then Sign out. To sign out a device you have left signed in somewhere else, use Profile › Security › Signed-in devices.
